Airport Transfers & Getting to Sea Island

Sea Island is easily accessible, with a few convenient airport options depending on your travel preferences:

  • Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK) – Located just ~20 minutes from the resort, this is the closest and most convenient option. It offers limited commercial service (primarily via Atlanta), making it ideal for a seamless, quick transfer upon arrival.
  • Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) – About 1 hour 15 minutes away, JAX provides significantly more flight options and direct routes from major cities, making it the most popular choice for many guests.
  • Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) – Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away, SAV is another strong option with good flight availability and a scenic coastal drive to the resort.

Transportation Options

  • Private Car Service (Recommended): Sea Island can arrange luxury transportation directly from any of these airports, offering a smooth, door-to-door experience.
  • Rental Car: Ideal for those who prefer flexibility, though once on property, a car is generally unnecessary.
  • Rideshare: Available from JAX and SAV, though less reliable from BQK due to its smaller size.

Best Way to Get Here
For the easiest overall travel experience, most guests choose to fly into Jacksonville (JAX) and take a pre-arranged private car to Sea Island. This option balances flight availability with a straightforward, comfortable transfer. If your schedule allows, flying into Brunswick (BQK) offers the quickest arrival to the resort with minimal travel time on the ground.

Client Testimonials

“Very well executed program. The attention to detail was apparent and it was great seeing familiar faces from last year – you have a great team. Loved how the agenda was laid out in a way that allowed each attendee to choose how much they wanted to “engage” with the tournament, while still having access to your amenities at the hotel. The quality of food for all evening events was fantastic. Specific kudos on the plated seven-course wine pairing experience. That is very hard to do well with that size group, the execution was flawless.”

“All we have to say is world class! The transportation and coordination was perfect. Food was good and the added touches were excellent! Everyone is talking about the golf and the overall experience. Additionally, those within my organization who could not make the trip are asking me for your information to plan something with you! Good news!”

“– really great event. Our guests loved it and I thought it was really a first-class experience. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
